Felipe meets Jorge "el sordo," the farmhand in charge of the horses, and they become friends. As the novena prayers are being held, the house's toilets begin to overflow, destroying the family photo archive and creating pools of water that reflect the family's hidden secrets. Felipe tries to challenge his family's power dynamics but becomes trapped within them.
